Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Edgardo Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannes Ruttens. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When New England Minas's Edgardo Silva in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. In the 25th minute, Beto Montenegro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jeremy Nicholas, passed just outside the right post. Beto Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. Nicky Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. In the 38th play minute Nicky Bryson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jeremy Nicholas. 2-1. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicky Bryson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edgardo Silva made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Sito came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Sito in the 54th minute of the match. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Cesario Irazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesario Irazu in the 63rd minute of play. New England Minas made a substitution. Ye Gang Cheng replaced Lalo Rosas. C. A. Pipon Pipon were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after New England Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justus Lintorf took the corner. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Beto Montenegro put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Sito in the 81st minute of play. Arturo Sito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jannes Ruttens made a huge save. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans cheered their team off the field, for while New England Minas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
