Edgardo Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everett Zavala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Brady Slater hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Edgardo Silva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Everett Zavala 5 minutes into the match. Edgardo Silva scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everett Zavala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Everett Zavala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Silva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 12 minute of play. Edgardo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everett Zavala having to make a save. With an all-out effort, New England Minas's Everett Zavala threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Silva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tio Lio got free with Everett Zavala in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tio Lio took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everett Zavala. Everett Zavala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 21st minute, Tio Lio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Tio Lio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everett Zavala having to make a save. Everett Zavala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Pacheco in the 26th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Edgardo Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea F's Everett Zavala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Robin Hendrix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Glen Conklin from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Everett Zavala's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tio Lio in the 45th minute of play forced Chelsea F's goalkeeper Everett Zavala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chelsea F's Everett Zavala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea F from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reuben McClelland to make the kick off. If Edgardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 53 minutes, Edgardo Silva made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chelsea F's Everett Zavala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 59th minute of play forced Chelsea F's goalkeeper Everett Zavala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Tio Lio notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Chelsea F's Everett Zavala. Everett Zavala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Chelsea F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Drummond to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Tony Pacheco. New England Minas's Edgardo Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everett Zavala came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tio Lio. But to his dismay, Tio Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After 80 minutes, Pascal Drummond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsea F and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Pascal Drummond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Tio Lio. After 81 played minutes Chelsea F got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Drummond. Chelsea F's Everett Zavala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Chelsea F's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Sito came free, but Everett Zavala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 86th minute of play forced Chelsea F's goalkeeper Everett Zavala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Brady Slater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everett Zavala. Everett Zavala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. New England Minas fully deserved thier win.
