Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Kenney Aasum sent off a good shot on target. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heriberto Rudd, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 13 minutes in the game, Sebastian Jayvier dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Jayvier in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heriberto Rudd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Acácio Vasco made a huge save. In the 20th minute Heriberto Rudd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Heriberto Rudd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Vasco was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Sport Club Corinthians's Sebastian Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Recife narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emerson Recife came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Corinthians's Sebastian Jayvier. But to his dismay, Sebastian Jayvier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Sport Club Corinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when 王川洲 sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, 王川洲 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acácio Vasco. Sport Club Corinthians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 王川洲 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Rudd got free with Acácio Vasco in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the game, Teodoro Stiles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Corinthians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lincolnwood the free kick. The supporters of Lincolnwood booed when Sport Club Corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Stiles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acácio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heriberto Rudd in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Sport Club Corinthians were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Normando Carreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
