Khachatryan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Gines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Creekers's Jude Crocker got control of the ball when Sung McKinley tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jude Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Wei Shu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gines in the 27th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tigran Balayan having to interfere. In the 38th minute Leevi Kampman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Khachatryan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leevi Kampman was slow to take the kick. During this time Creekers's players had a chance to rest. 44 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylvesteri Valkama kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's Merlin Castro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Gines to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Gines to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 54th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Sung McKinley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khachatryan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ladislao Gines struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Tigran Balayan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. In the 61st minute Sung McKinley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Trotter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Creekers's Ladislao Gines ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tigran Balayan. Tigran Balayan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Castro in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Crocker saved Creekers from getting behind. After 67 minutes Creekers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Merlin Castro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Khachatryan's Merlin Castro to fire away a dangerous shot which Jude Crocker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Grigor Grigoryan charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigor Grigoryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Creekers booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigor Grigoryan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigor Grigoryan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 70th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Creekers's Reynaldo Driscoll in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tigran Balayan guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 73rd minute of the match, Riley Trotter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tigran Balayan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Riley Trotter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tigran Balayan came out and tried to block the shot, but Riley Trotter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 78th minute. Creekers made a substitution. Dalton Flaherty replaced William Kerns. The audience thought a goal was coming when Whitney Godfrey got free with Tigran Balayan in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigor Grigoryan in the 89th minute of the match. Sylvesteri Valkama hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Driscoll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Tigran Balayan made a huge save. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Antoine Schaefer hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Creekers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
