Merlin Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Humberto Baptista made a huge save. Sung McKinley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, empanadas's goal looked a bit too open when Sung McKinley came free, but Humberto Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tigran Balayan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Connor in the 10th minute of the match. empanadas's Humberto Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save empanadas from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Castro. Royce Bachman struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tigran Balayan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for empanadas. The supporters of empanadas booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bin Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Merlin Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sung McKinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Baptista having to interfere. Humberto Baptista made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bin Baresi sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in empanadas's zone, Tigran Kirakosyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Baptista came out of the goal and Tigran Kirakosyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merlin Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Humberto Baptista made a huge save. Royce Bachman kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Khachatryan's Merlin Castro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Merlin Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Khachatryan made a substitution. Abel Avetisyan replaced Tigran Kirakosyan. Khachatryan's Anton Florei was substituted for Hu Wei Shu. 52 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's Merlin Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Khachatryan were awarded a corner. Merlin Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Merlin Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Humberto Baptista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anton Florei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Humberto Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Merlin Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Baptista was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Humberto Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sung McKinley, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Merlin Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Merlin Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Humberto Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Merlin Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaro Connor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tigran Balayan made a huge save. Merlin Castro scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Boleslaw Labus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tigran Balayan. The goal made the score 3-2. Angelo Hackett kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Merlin Castro made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. empanadas's Humberto Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Khachatryan's Merlin Castro in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye empanadas's goalie prevented a goal. Merlin Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute.
