Aaron Smallwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Beasley in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darnell Contreras came free, but Aaron Smallwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, 叶洋誉 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Smallwood. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 叶洋誉 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lanny Gilmore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lanny Gilmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lanny Gilmore struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gregorio Green didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. 58 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Gregorio Green reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Paulo Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aaron Smallwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Narcis Nicolcioiu in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Santos FC's Tory Weeks. 62 minutes into the match, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Green narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lanny Gilmore came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lanny Gilmore couldn't finish the play. If Lanny Gilmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded ARMENIAN 11 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santos FC.
