Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeng Xu Chang got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeng Xu Chang in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hal Mackey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute, Zeng Xu Chang made a precise shot to the right of Hal Mackey. Western Springs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kerry McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Paris Chatzinikolaou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Conn, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Kerry McDonald dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paris Chatzinikolaou, 1-1. Hal Mackey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeng Xu Chang's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Corley notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rijosos F.C.'s Paris Chatzinikolaou. Paris Chatzinikolaou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute, Rijosos F.C.'s Ramon Cooper seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ramon Cooper the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rijosos F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramon Cooper had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Rijosos F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Western Springs FC:s goal. After 27 minutes of play, Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paris Chatzinikolaou was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Frankie Russell in the 36th minute of play forced Rijosos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paris Chatzinikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hal Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Xu Chang in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Rijosos F.C. were awarded a corner. Ronald Gore went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronald Gore made a great header on Rijosos F.C.'s corner, it was just that Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute Zeng Xu Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Mackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hal Mackey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Xu Chang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes Western Springs FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronald Gore who took care of the corner kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuel Corley to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rijosos F.C. booed when Western Springs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cory Lowry didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Benny Lujan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rijosos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Western Springs FC the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Benny Lujan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paris Chatzinikolaou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garry Conn in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Zeng Xu Chang made a precise shot to the right of Hal Mackey. Western Springs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. A collision led to Rijosos F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Landon Person hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Ronald Gore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeng Xu Chang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Rijosos F.C. defense, Frankie Russell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paris Chatzinikolaou. The Rijosos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paris Chatzinikolaou should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Xu Chang came free, but Hal Mackey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hal Mackey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hal Mackey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Western Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Egan. Ronald Gore, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Kerry McDonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paris Chatzinikolaou. Rijosos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerry McDonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 93rd match minute, Rijosos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Gore to maneuver through the defense. Frankie Russell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Western Springs FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
