Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodney Hagen started the match with the kick off. If Trey Echols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Trey Echols cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jarrett Rosenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Terrell in the 12th minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Trey Echols sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodney Hagen got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Brian Mendoza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Brian Mendoza hit a great ball. Jarrett Rosenberg made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Trey Echols sent off a good shot on target. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trey Echols's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Cosmos Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Ivelin Kúchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Terrell in the 33rd minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosmos Soccer Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Zeigler was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Miami Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Tyrone Terrell got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With his leg Jarrett Rosenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodney Hagen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Cosmos Soccer Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harvey Flynn in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Harvey Flynn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guilherme Veiga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Trey Echols. But to his dismay, Trey Echols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 62 minutes into the match, Xu Yuan Lin notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Chance Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Grant McKay threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Romeo Zeigler quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chance Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Chance Adams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 72nd minute, Grant McKay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chance Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chance Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Rosenberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Chance Adams kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarrett Rosenberg should have stopped the shot. When Brian Mendoza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Brian Mendoza kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Cermak in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Chance Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Miami Futbol Club fully deserved thier win.
