Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trey Echols took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Trey Echols got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chance Adams's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hal Mackey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trey Echols in the 7th minute of play forced Western Springs FC's goalkeeper Hal Mackey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chance Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Echols in the 12th minute of the match. The corner led Racing Miami Futbol Club's Nathanial Coppack to fire away a dangerous shot which Hal Mackey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trey Echols in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hal Mackey saved Western Springs FC from getting behind. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Trey Echols looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Western Springs FC's Marty Hanley got a free kick in the 19th minute. Chance Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hal Mackey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Russell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Marty Hanley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trey Echols in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Trey Echols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Mackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Garry Conn came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Trey Echols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Mackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hal Mackey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chance Adams in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emmanuel Corley made the kick off in the second half. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Hagen in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Western Springs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Bocanegra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Western Springs FC's goalkeeper Hal Mackey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match, Frankie Russell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guilherme Veiga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guilherme Veiga made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Frankie Russell sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga got control of the ball when Frankie Russell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Bocanegra hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Chance Adams had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hal Mackey. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Hagen in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frankie Russell got free with Guilherme Veiga in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Western Springs FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vance Tidwell took the corner.
