With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryant Miles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Don Malbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bryant Miles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Xu Chang in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Malbec in the 13th minute of play forced Rijosos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paris Chatzinikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Braulio Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Chatzinikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Braulio Hitz advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 17th minute. Paris Chatzinikolaou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Malbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Xu Chang in the 29th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Rijosos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Cooper to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Charlotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Hankins. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Don Malbec made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Don Malbec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Paris Chatzinikolaou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Don Malbec came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Charlotte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Malbec couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Zeng Xu Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Zeng Xu Chang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Don Malbec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rijosos F.C.'s Paris Chatzinikolaou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaques Van Mellaert took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paris Chatzinikolaou. Paris Chatzinikolaou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a little luck, Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles got control of the ball when Zeng Xu Chang tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Rijosos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Don Malbec came free, but Paris Chatzinikolaou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Don Malbec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlotte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Malbec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charlotte FC made a substitution. Wander Suzanne replaced Braulio Hitz. If Vicente Rafferty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wander Suzanne struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Paris Chatzinikolaou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charlotte FC. Vicente Rafferty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Paris Chatzinikolaou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Rafferty might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paris Chatzinikolaou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Rafferty ran back to his position shaking his head. Paris Chatzinikolaou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Rafferty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
