In the 2nd minute, Ronald Gore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeng Xu Chang. Vitório Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Rosenberg having to interfere. Grant McKay kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Cosmos Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. Harvey Flynn hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Harvey Flynn fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Harvey Flynn a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Flynn. The crowd rose to their feet as Rijosos F.C.'s Vitório Donato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarrett Rosenberg. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. A collision led to Rijosos F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ian Faria hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Zeng Xu Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant McKay kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Xu Chang in the 28th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Fontenot. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Chang in the 35th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Rijosos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Odell Santana. After 39 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Grant McKay. In the 47th minute, Harvey Flynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Zeng Xu Chang made the kick off in the second half. Harvey Flynn kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Zeng Xu Chang made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 57 played minutes Rijosos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Landon Person. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Xu Chang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Soccer Club's zone, Odell Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal and Odell Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Chang in the 64th minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeng Xu Chang's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Marcus Rush hit a great ball. Ronald Gore didn't quite understand what happened when in the 69 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Grant McKay hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Ratliff in the 72nd minute of play. Zeng Xu Chang scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Xu Chang, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Patrick Fontenot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Rijosos F.C.'s Vitório Donato in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosmos Soccer Club's goalie prevented a goal. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Xu Chang in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Donato in the 84th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Zeng Xu Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Zeng Xu Chang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rijosos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Rijosos F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
