With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hal Mackey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hal Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Kaczor in the 6th minute of play. Hal Mackey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Sebastian Call had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hal Mackey. Western Springs FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Call was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Dudu Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garry Conn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Alonso Larsen made a huge save. Alonso Larsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Corley, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sebastian Call blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hal Mackey having to make a save. After 23 minutes of play, Western Springs FC's Kerry McDonald made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonso Larsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Garry Conn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hal Mackey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Chacon's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI got a corner. Western Springs FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Castillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI's Alonso Larsen got control of the ball when Emmanuel Corley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alonso Larsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Egan in the 36th minute of play. When CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI's Donald Kaczor in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI's Sebastian Call managed to work through Western Springs FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sebastian Call dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Western Springs FC's Colby Saucedo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Western Springs FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Frankie Russell hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuel Corley to strike the kick off in the second half. Hal Mackey made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Dudu Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. Dudu Ferraz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hal Mackey came out and tried to block the shot, but Dudu Ferraz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 52nd minute. Allan Chacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hal Mackey having to interfere. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Kaczor in the 58th minute of play. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Hal Mackey as he didn't even see the shot coming. CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI made a substitution. Lucas Britto replaced Dudu Ferraz. In the 77th minute Donald Kaczor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Mackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donald Kaczor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hal Mackey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Hal Mackey managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI's Lucas Britto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over CHŁOPKI ROZTROPKI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Western Springs FC throughout the match.
