Charlotte FC's Don Malbec got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Malbec in the 6th minute of play forced Rijosos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paris Chatzinikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Malbec took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paris Chatzinikolaou. Paris Chatzinikolaou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Don Malbec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paris Chatzinikolaou was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Don Malbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charlotte FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Rijosos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaja Jamak took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Kaja Jamak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paris Chatzinikolaou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 31st minute Don Malbec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Chatzinikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryant Miles was a little too slow when Odell Santana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, Rijosos F.C.'s Landon Person got a free kick in the 37th minute. Rijosos F.C.'s Paris Chatzinikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Malbec in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Rijosos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Larry Bird. In the 41st minute of the match Kaja Jamak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paris Chatzinikolaou skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jaques Van Mellaert hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primo Dunđer during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Primo Dunđer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Charlotte FC from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 曾旭常 made a kick off. Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odell Santana in the 55th minute of play. 2-1 came in the 58th minute when Ronald Gore all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Bryant Miles. Odell Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paris Chatzinikolaou was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Don Malbec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Don Malbec really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Rijosos F.C.'s Paris Chatzinikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Malbec in the 64th minute of play. Bryant Miles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Malbec in the 73rd minute of play forced Rijosos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paris Chatzinikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Charlotte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primo Dunđer to maneuver through the defense. Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne was substituted for Braulio Hitz. Charlotte FC's Jaques Van Mellaert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Landon Person in the 80 minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, Zack Ratliff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rijosos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlotte FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rijosos F.C.'s Zack Ratliff got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Rijosos F.C.'s Paris Chatzinikolaou got control of the ball when Vicente Rafferty tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes Rijosos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Cooper. Wander Suzanne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Vicente Rafferty made a precise shot to the right of Paris Chatzinikolaou. Rijosos F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Rijosos F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Charlotte FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
