A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. George Potra hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, The Team FC's Shelton Flanagan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jospeh McNally came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Team FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in The Team FC's zone, Trenton Long stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Lorenzi came out of the goal and Trenton Long tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Shelton Flanagan came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shelton Flanagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otis Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jospeh McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elliot Whitley fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brooklyn SC's protests and gave Elliot Whitley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Whitley to maneuver through the defense. Jospeh McNally showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Shi Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The Team FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Shelton Flanagan in the 21st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brooklyn SC's goalie and right to Guy Baxter. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brooklyn SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cao Shi Yi sped through Brooklyn SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jospeh McNally. 31 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trenton Long. With a little luck, The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi got control of the ball when Trenton Long tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cao Shi Yi in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trenton Long. Dwight Schrute kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Otis Short shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jospeh McNally showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cao Shi Yi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jospeh McNally prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36thth minute of the game Cao Shi Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Cole in the 40th minute of play forced The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shelton Flanagan in the 44th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cao Shi Yi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jospeh McNally saved Brooklyn SC from getting behind. In the 55thth minute of the game Cao Shi Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cao Shi Yi in the 66th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Cao Shi Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Potra during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cao Shi Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jospeh McNally read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute The Team FC were awarded a corner. Shelton Flanagan went to the cornerflag to take it. George Potra tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jospeh McNally. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 74th minute. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Anderson Donatello replaced Gerardo Beard. Gerald Bradshaw made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cao Shi Yi immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trenton Long in the 82nd minute of play forced The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cao Shi Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jospeh McNally was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brooklyn SC! When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, The Team FC's Shelton Flanagan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jospeh McNally. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Team FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
