If Jörn Emmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Derick Murry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jospeh McNally saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hector Hickman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Jospeh McNally when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derick Murry in the 18th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Bochynski made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jörn Emmel immediately put the ball in play. Slower Lower FC's Ross Buchanan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cole in the 26th minute of play.
