El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Allan Caudill. In the 22nd minute Joaquim Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pascal Combs hit a great ball. Domingo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoel Quevedo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Caudill during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Allan Caudill hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 47th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Bateman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Phil Riggs hit a great ball. The long shot by Claude Mueller in the 51st minute really tested Yoel Quevedo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. El Canalla de Chicago's Cary Ackerman was substituted for Andreas Sanchez. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Justin Raines replaced Hugo Hubbard. In the 65th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Shannon to maneuver through the defense. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Wilbur Hyde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Bateman's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Lopez. Recolta Alamor's Jerrod Dickinson was substituted for Damian Dean. Yoel Quevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 83rd minute. Wilfred Noel made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joaquim Vilar immediately put the ball in play. Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. Chris Bateman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justin Raines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoel Quevedo having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Nichols came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of El Canalla de Chicago were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Recolta Alamor side.
