The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Johnsson got free with Aldo Hawk in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Verner Johnsson. Aldo Hawk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Nordlander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Patoruzu's Rene Harman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iustin Florea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Lockhart came free, but Aldo Hawk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Kal - El's corner Verner Johnsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aldo Hawk quite easily take care of the ball. Iustin Florea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Kal - El's goal looked a bit too open when Wiley Boyle came free, but Iustin Florea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Aguirre in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iustin Florea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Gualterio Aguirre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Florea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Iustin Florea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Aguirre in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dom Bosch to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Atletico Patoruzu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
