Verner Johnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Roman Rollins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iustin Florea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Karpinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Ernie Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Florea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kal - El's goalkeeper Iustin Florea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Joseph Nordlander notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins. Roman Rollins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ogden was substituted for Cyryl Karpinski. After a rather tough play, Kal - El's Shannon Barron got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Kal - El made a substitution. John Tilley replaced Joseph Nordlander. Iustin Florea made an important save on a dangerous shot by J.C. Ogden in the 55th minute. Kal - El were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Verner Johnsson took the corner. Brian Herget could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Iustin Florea made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, J.C. Ogden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iustin Florea. J.C. Ogden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Iustin Florea threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernie Dixon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Kal - El's Peter Lang got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Kal - El was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Jason Stuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Florea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Lockhart came free, but Roman Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Kal - El was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Crăciun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Shelby Cruz was substituted for Jason Stuart. Rich Jean took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iustin Florea. Kal - El's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iustin Florea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shelby Cruz in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Ulf-Hendrik Natvig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kal - El's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Kal - El getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ulf-Hendrik Natvig hit a great ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Verner Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Seyfettin Haseki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kal - El fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boca Juniors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
