Roman Rollins came out of the goal and Chris Bateman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes, Wes Nichols made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Recolta Alamor made a substitution. Phil Riggs replaced Chris Bateman. Boca Juniors's Shelby Cruz was substituted for Jason Stuart. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Kemp in the 83rd minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
