An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Cole in the 5th minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Ross Buchanan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slower Lower FC's Ross Buchanan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Beard in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Slower Lower FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dwight Schrute came free, but Ross Buchanan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jospeh McNally was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Jonas Cole blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ross Buchanan having to make a save. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derick Murry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derick Murry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Hickman in the 50th minute. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ross Buchanan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Beard, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Dwight Schrute had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ross Buchanan. Slower Lower FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dwight Schrute was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Dwight Schrute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Buchanan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Iraunkor Abar fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slower Lower FC's protests and gave Iraunkor Abar a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Dwight Schrute. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Slower Lower FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gustafson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Gerardo Beard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Buchanan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dwight Schrute scored 3-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ross Buchanan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Slower Lower FC booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Potra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Hickman in the 94th minute of play. Jospeh McNally made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Derick Murry sent off a good shot on target. There was no doubt that Brooklyn SC were the better team. Brooklyn SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
