Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joaquim Vilar kicked off to start the match. Atletico Patoruzu's Aldo Hawk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lopez in the 4th minute of play. Joaquim Vilar scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Hawk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualterio Aguirre in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilbur Hyde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilbur Hyde made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rene Harman sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Shannon to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Hawk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Vilar in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Vilar came free, but Aldo Hawk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 29th minute of play forced Atletico Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Claude Mueller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Hawk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rúben Verdun kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Patoruzu's zone, Joaquim Vilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Hawk came out of the goal and Joaquim Vilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezra Shepard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Vilar in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Hawk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Atletico Patoruzu booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half El Canalla de Chicago were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Aguirre to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Rúben Verdun. Domingo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilbur Hyde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Aguirre in the 53rd minute of the match. Joaquim Vilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aldo Hawk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletico Patoruzu's Teobaldo Gaizkine was substituted for Diego Latorre. Atletico Patoruzu's Rúben Verdun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilbur Hyde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiley Boyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claude Mueller hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Atletico Patoruzu made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Rene Harman. In the 72nd match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Mueller to maneuver through the defense. Justin Raines had several of the Atletico Patoruzu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Aldo Hawk as he didn't even see the shot coming.
