A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo-Luis Butcher in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Recolta Alamor's Damian Dean. When Rene Harman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Atletico Patoruzu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Harman couldn't finish the play. Aldo Hawk made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Norman Donnelly sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute of the match, Chris Bateman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aldo Hawk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute, Rene Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Aldo Hawk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aldo Hawk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wes Nichols's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Chris Bateman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Recolta Alamor's Chris Bateman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Hawk. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Yoel Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Latorre, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Recolta Alamor's Wes Nichols slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Hawk. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. Aldo Hawk made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Norman Donnelly sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Bateman was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo-Luis Butcher. Atletico Patoruzu made a substitution. Teobaldo Gaizkine replaced Diego Latorre. In the 60th minute, Marcelo-Luis Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Bateman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aldo Hawk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletico Patoruzu made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Rene Harman. In the 94th minute Luciano Cronshagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Hawk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Hawk didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Recolta Alamor's Phil Riggs shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Recolta Alamor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Patoruzu for a fine match.
