In the 19th minute Jason Stuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Florea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kal - El's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Ernie Dixon scored to the left of an out of position Iustin Florea, making the score, 1-0. Iustin Florea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jason Stuart in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute J.C. Ogden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Florea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boca Juniors! The referee gave Kal - El a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Verner Johnsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins. 2-1. In the 46th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Herget to maneuver through the defense. Kal - El made a substitution. John Tilley replaced Joseph Nordlander. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Brian Herget hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernie Dixon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kal - El's Iustin Florea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Diniz in the 53rd minute of play. Iustin Florea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Stuart in the 54th minute of play. Roman Rollins made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Verner Johnsson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Kal - El's Benjamin Šeško got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute Kal - El were awarded a corner. Verner Johnsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Verner Johnsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins did a great save. In the 75th minute, Jason Stuart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 90 minutes Boca Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Verner Johnsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kal - El's Verner Johnsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Rollins despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iustin Florea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shelby Cruz in the 92nd minute of play. Jonah Lockhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kal - El's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
