Hilario Carro came out of the goal and Nerio Lopez de Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Çağrı Kıralp's late challenge caught a Lake Junaluska FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Çağrı Kıralp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lake Junaluska FC booed when ACC Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Çağrı Kıralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Nerio Lopez de Toro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Lake Junaluska FC booed when ACC Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuan Eubanks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Van Clynenbreugel in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nerio Lopez de Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 67thth minute of the game Steve Van Clynenbreugel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Lake Junaluska FC's Dennis Miranda got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Steve Van Clynenbreugel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nerio Lopez de Toro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Carro. Hilario Carro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keenan Blake in the 87th minute of play. ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save ACC Mavericks from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's Nerio Lopez de Toro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Carro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the ACC Mavericks players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
