An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Sellers in the 19th minute of play forced Demons F.C's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Fenton was slow to take the kick. During this time Demons F.C's players had a chance to rest. After 33 played minutes Demons F.C got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Macias. In the 36thth minute of the game Dósóþeus Guðbjarnason who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Spencer Holder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Sellers in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Demons F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xu Yun Quan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Demons F.C's goalkeeper Spencer Holder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xu Yun Quan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Kerry Sellers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spencer Holder was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Independiente got a corner. Demons F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eric Snowden ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Sid Chadwick came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the C. A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Chadwick couldn't finish the play. Spencer Holder came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Xu Yun Quan. But to his dismay, Xu Yun Quan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. C. A. Independiente's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
