Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Los Angeles Galaxy's Marshall Hahn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When New Iberia AFC's Glen Lefler in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led New Iberia AFC's Carlo Salazar to fire away a dangerous shot which Wade Hightower despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Hahn in the 18th minute of play forced New Iberia AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Remicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Felipe Coulter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wade Hightower. Felipe Coulter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Oskitz got free with Wade Hightower in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Coulter in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Alistair Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, New Iberia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Garrison to maneuver through the defense. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Coulter in the 29th minute of play. Felipe Coulter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Wade Hightower 31 minutes into the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Glen Lefler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Angeles Galaxy's Wade Hightower was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute of the match New Iberia AFC got a corner. Los Angeles Galaxy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlo Salazar ran over to the corner to take the kick. New Iberia AFC's Carlo Salazar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wade Hightower in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roy Garrison scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wade Hightower, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wade Hightower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Coulter in the 45th minute of the match. Wade Hightower was a little too slow when Glen Lefler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glen Lefler was the one to do the kick off. Ernie Cotton's late challenge caught a New Iberia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernie Cotton helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Los Angeles Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Ernie Cotton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Coulter in the 61st minute of play forced Los Angeles Galaxy's goalkeeper Wade Hightower to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, New Iberia AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Remicio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marshall Hahn. In the 68th minute, Roy Garrison made a precise shot to the right of Wade Hightower. Los Angeles Galaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Namık Kemal Dersu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Angeles Galaxy's protests and gave Namık Kemal Dersu a yellow card for diving instead. Namık Kemal Dersu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of New Iberia AFC booed when Los Angeles Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Bruno Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wade Hightower saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bruno Oskitz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the New Iberia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Oskitz couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Bruno Oskitz notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Los Angeles Galaxy's Wade Hightower. Wade Hightower was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New Iberia AFC had won after a very even match.
