In the 7th minute, Marshall Medina made a precise shot to the right of Benito Lind. Grosse Pointe Farms's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Leon Kaplan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grosse Pointe Farms's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL LOBO DE MIAMI the free kick. In the 20th minute, Leon Kaplan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marshall Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Marshall Medina made a precise shot to the right of Benito Lind. Grosse Pointe Farms's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Marshall Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Lind read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Tyron Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marshall Medina took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Lind. Benito Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Tyron Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marshall Medina to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Medina in the 50th minute of play forced Grosse Pointe Farms's goalkeeper Benito Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes of play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Lind was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marshall Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Grosse Pointe Farms defense, Marshall Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Lind. The Grosse Pointe Farms fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Lind should have stopped the shot. After 63 played minutes EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Medina. When Marshall Medina got the opportunity to take care of a free kick, it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball hit the crossbar and flew out of bounds. EL LOBO DE MIAMI made a substitution. Gustavo Lyons replaced Virgil Caudill. Tyron Jacobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Errol Sharpe hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Marshall Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Grosse Pointe Farms defense, Marshall Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Lind. The Grosse Pointe Farms fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Lind should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Grosse Pointe Farms getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Deon Shelton hit a great ball. If Tyron Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
