Higinio Llanos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Waterbury Rangers's Rodolfo Cordero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Higinio Llanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Shayne Cagle got free with Higinio Llanos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Higinio Llanos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Shayne Cagle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Higinio Llanos made a huge save. Matthew Saldana hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Shayne Cagle made the kick off in the second half. Higinio Llanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Waterbury Rangers's Milton Canales was substituted for Rodolfo Cordero. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Waterbury Rangers fully deserved thier win.
