Rodolfo Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Grosse Pointe Farms's Benito Lind got control of the ball when Shayne Cagle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Lind didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Preston Winston went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Benito Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shayne Cagle in the 77th minute. Grosse Pointe Farms's Benito Lind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Grosse Pointe Farms from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute of the match, Shayne Cagle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Lind was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benito Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Canales in the 92nd minute of play forced Grosse Pointe Farms's goalkeeper Benito Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shayne Cagle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
