Rosario Polk started the match with the kick off. Weldon Gibbs kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Alonso Snider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winners 1988 FC's Hector Noel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Winners 1988 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Snider came free, but Hector Noel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Noel came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by San Antonio HotSPURS's Alonso Snider. But to his dismay, Alonso Snider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Brent Weeks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winners 1988 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Weeks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonso Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hector Noel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Noel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonso Snider's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Hector Noel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Snider in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonso Snider in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Noel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. San Antonio HotSPURS's Weldon Gibbs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Weston Witt in the 43 minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Alonso Snider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Noel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alonso Snider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Noel was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Leroy Vega made a precise shot to the right of Hector Noel. Winners 1988 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonso Snider in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Noel saved Winners 1988 FC from getting behind. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Noel having to interfere. A collision led to Winners 1988 FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rosario Polk hit a great ball. After 68th play minutes Alonso Snider shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Hector Noel and just under the crossbar into goal. Weston Witt charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Weston Witt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Antonio HotSPURS booed when Winners 1988 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weston Witt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Alonso Snider notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Winners 1988 FC's Hector Noel. Hector Noel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Antonio HotSPURS's Alonso Snider got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Wolf in the 79th minute of play. Cesar Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Polk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winners 1988 FC's Hector Noel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Snider in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonso Snider in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Noel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Antonio HotSPURS's Micah Alston was substituted for Antonio Corley. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Antonio HotSPURS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
