The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Lind firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alonso Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Len Springer to make the kick off. Grosse Pointe Farms's Benito Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Corley in the 55th minute of play. Alonso Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Lind having to interfere. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonso Snider in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Lind saved Grosse Pointe Farms from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonso Snider in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Lind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Grosse Pointe Farms defense, Antonio Corley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Lind. The Grosse Pointe Farms fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Lind should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Alonso Snider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Springer in the 71st minute of play. Thanh Rhoades fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Donio having to interfere. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Stefanos Kassanos replaced Sergio Hammer. Alonso Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benito Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Antonio HotSPURS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
