In the 4th minute of the game Werner Comer made a throw-in which Bradley Romano played forward. With a little luck, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Osvaldo Daunte got control of the ball when Preston Winston tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boyd Donnelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordero in the 16th minute of play. Marshall Medina might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyd Donnelly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marshall Medina ran back to his position shaking his head. Boyd Donnelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Preston Winston 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Osvaldo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Marshall Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyd Donnelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Osvaldo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shayne Cagle in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Rodolfo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes in the game Werner Comer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Preston Winston. After 46 minutes of play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyd Donnelly was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Shayne Cagle made the kick off in the second half. Waterbury Rangers's Boyd Donnelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Medina in the 51st minute of play. Boyd Donnelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Rodolfo Cordero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Daunte was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. EL LOBO DE MIAMI made a substitution. Gustavo Lyons replaced Virgil Caudill. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Osvaldo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 68th minute of play. Giuseppe Conway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Donnelly having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 72nd minute of play forced EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Osvaldo Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Marshall Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waterbury Rangers's Milo Miranda was substituted for Alfonso Buck. Marshall Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Boyd Donnelly made a huge save. Boyd Donnelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marshall Medina went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boyd Donnelly. Boyd Donnelly yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
