The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosario Polk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferenc Puskás got free with Hector Noel in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Ferenc Puskás dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Noel, 0-9. In the 79th minute, Winners 1988 FC's Walter Pereira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Walter Pereira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Winners 1988 FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Walter Pereira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
