Los Angeles FC's Wallace McConnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chase Wolfe in the 3rd minute of play. Wallace McConnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chase Wolfe, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th match minute, Lima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Triplett to maneuver through the defense. Chase Wolfe might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wallace McConnell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chase Wolfe ran back to his position shaking his head. Bob Denton hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Benedict Cottrell struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bennett Donahue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Angeles FC. Wallace McConnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Fritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Benedict Cottrell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bennett Donahue skillfully saved the ball. Chase Wolfe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace McConnell having to interfere. In the 38th minute Ismael Fritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wallace McConnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Triplett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Fritz in the 44th minute of play forced Los Angeles FC's goalkeeper Wallace McConnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 51stth minute of the game Ismael Fritz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Angeles FC's Wallace McConnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wallace McConnell was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ismael Fritz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Fritz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, Toby Cavazos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bennett Donahue. Lima FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toby Cavazos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles FC's Dan Arellano got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ismael Fritz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wallace McConnell, 1-3. Wallace McConnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Fritz in the 72nd minute of the match. When Ismael Fritz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Fritz couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Dan Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lima FC's Ismael Fritz in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Angeles FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Fritz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wallace McConnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Lima FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Angeles FC.
