Lima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Fritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russell Lund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mitch Dunn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Bennett Donahue when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Fritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Russell Lund having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bennett Donahue. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. A collision led to Lima FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Julio Matthews hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Mitch Dunn made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lima FC's Bennett Donahue tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Phyperstars FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rashad Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Ron McElroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phyperstars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron McElroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lima FC's Julio Matthews got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bennett Donahue made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Woodrow Ricks sent off a good shot on target. Woodrow Ricks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennett Donahue having to interfere. The supporters of Phyperstars FC booed when Lima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Triplett didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The throw-in from Jesus Molina in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lima FC's Rick Stevens. A sloppy throw-in by Gustavo Kessler in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lima FC's Rick Stevens. A collision led to Lima FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rick Stevens hit a great ball. Phyperstars FC's Gustavo Kessler got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Gustavo Kessler off the ground. Bennett Donahue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Woodrow Ricks in the 67th minute of the match. Russell Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Fritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Lima FC's zone, Anton Moses stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Donahue came out of the goal and Anton Moses tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Ron McElroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phyperstars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron McElroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ismael Fritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russell Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Fritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Ulysses Tinsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ron McElroy scored 4-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bennett Donahue, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Fritz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russell Lund saved Phyperstars FC from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Mitch Dunn threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lima FC's Rick Stevens quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lima FC's Ismael Fritz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phyperstars FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lima FC for a fine match.
