Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mitch Dunn made the kick off which started today's match. Ian Chung's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Russell Lund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danial Salter in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russell Lund saved Phyperstars FC from getting behind. After 16 minutes Phyperstars FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Garth Wray who took care of the corner kick. Russell Lund was a little too slow when Ian Chung got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Dunn in the 22nd minute of play forced Lake Wales FC's goalkeeper Rinto Kalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Lake Wales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Yeats to maneuver through the defense. Phyperstars FC's Russell Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Salter in the 25th minute of play. Ian Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Russell Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Chung in the 31st minute. Ian Chung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Lund having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lake Wales FC's Russell Lund threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danial Salter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ian Chung blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Russell Lund having to make a save. Ian Chung who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Russell Lund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danial Salter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Lund having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Chung got free with Russell Lund in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Chung to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Ian Chung had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Russell Lund. Phyperstars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Chung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 56th minute, Ian Chung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Wales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 60th minute, Danial Salter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Russell Lund was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jarvis Whitney kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Phyperstars FC defense, Ian Chung kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Russell Lund. The Phyperstars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Russell Lund should have stopped the shot. Danial Salter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garth Wray scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russell Lund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lake Wales FC's Toby Ruiz was substituted for Ian Chung. Phyperstars FC's Russell Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Salter in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Danial Salter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Wales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danial Salter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Russell Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toby Ruiz in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Lake Wales FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
