Durval Castro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Matthew Dotson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Moorefield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cao Xiao. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Banfield FI's goalkeeper Markus Bachman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stan Craft kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Moorefield AFC's goalkeeper Teodoro Arizmendi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quinton Rivers. Leon Ledochowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Teodoro Arizmendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Moorefield AFC's zone, Quinton Rivers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Arizmendi came out of the goal and Quinton Rivers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Moorefield AFC's Bryan Donovan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Bachman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Ledochowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Teodoro Arizmendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Bachman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Donovan in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Banfield FI getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Virgilio Cowan hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Leon Ledochowski made the kick off in the second half. Elequemedo Vinambres hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Banfield FI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stan Craft to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, Banfield FI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stan Craft to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Banfield FI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Ledochowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Lanny Boyles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Bachman skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quinton Rivers in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Arizmendi saved Moorefield AFC from getting behind. When Banfield FI's Quinton Rivers in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moorefield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Markus Bachman came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Moorefield AFC's Eliseo Cresenciano. But to his dismay, Eliseo Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Sidro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Bachman saved Banfield FI from getting behind. Moorefield AFC made a substitution. Adalberto Pace replaced Lanny Boyles. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Donovan got free with Markus Bachman in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro Arizmendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Ledochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Teodoro Arizmendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Craft in the 88th minute of the match. With a little luck, Banfield FI's Markus Bachman got control of the ball when Eliseo Cresenciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moorefield AFC's zone, Stan Craft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Arizmendi came out of the goal and Stan Craft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Moorefield AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Moorefield AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
