After taking down the ball on Lake Wales FC's corner Garth Wray fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wallace McConnell quite easily take care of the ball. Wallace McConnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Ian Chung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Angeles FC's Wallace McConnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Danial Salter put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wallace McConnell. The Lake Wales FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Lake Wales FC's Danial Salter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Los Angeles FC's zone, Ian Chung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wallace McConnell came out of the goal and Ian Chung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Stacy Kitchen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Wallace McConnell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Wales FC. If Ian Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danial Salter had several of the Los Angeles FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Wallace McConnell as he didn't even see the shot coming. 70 minutes into the game, Danial Salter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Wallace McConnell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Roland Davenport managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Wales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Davenport was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wallace McConnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Los Angeles FC's zone, Roland Davenport stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wallace McConnell came out of the goal and Roland Davenport tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lake Wales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Davenport was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. From a short distance, Lake Wales FC's Danial Salter, in the 94th minute, tried to place the ball behind Wallace McConnell, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. After 94 minutes of play, Lake Wales FC's Toby Ruiz made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wallace McConnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Los Angeles FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lake Wales FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
