Russell Lund came out of the goal and Emil Szpakowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ron McElroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Sidro took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Russell Lund. Russell Lund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Moorefield AFC's Bryan Donovan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Teodoro Arizmendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillon Sumner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Sidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russell Lund was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Sidro made a kick off. Phyperstars FC's Russell Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Sidro in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dillon Sumner during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dillon Sumner hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Donovan got free with Russell Lund in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Phyperstars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Sidro came free, but Russell Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Russell Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Eliseo Cresenciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moorefield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Cresenciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Arizmendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitch Dunn in the 68th minute of play. Teodoro Arizmendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron McElroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Moorefield AFC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Phyperstars FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Trey Burke took the corner. 82 minutes into the match, Phyperstars FC's goalkeeper Russell Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandy Spaulding. In the 83rd minute Sandy Spaulding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russell Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Sandy Spaulding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moorefield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandy Spaulding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute of the match, Sandy Spaulding tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Russell Lund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Moorefield AFC's Russell Lund threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sandy Spaulding, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Del Altman kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Phyperstars FC's Russell Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandy Spaulding in the 95th minute of play. The Moorefield AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
