Ismael Fritz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Bennett Donahue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Wasikowski in the 6th minute of play. Bennett Donahue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Foster Contreras, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 13 minutes of play, S.D. Bajen's Lincoln Hand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bennett Donahue was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Lima FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Chase Wolfe hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Kacper Wasikowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bennett Donahue. Lima FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kacper Wasikowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lima FC's Bennett Donahue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Hand in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Ismael Fritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Munoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ismael Fritz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lima FC's protests and gave Ismael Fritz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lima FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ismael Fritz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kacper Wasikowski in the 33rd minute of play forced Lima FC's goalkeeper Bennett Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennett Donahue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Wasikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lima FC's Bennett Donahue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Rodrigo in the 35th minute of play. If Daniel Triplett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lima FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Lima FC's Ismael Fritz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

With a little luck, Lima FC's Bennett Donahue got control of the ball when Kacper Wasikowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dillon Metz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lima FC! Lima FC:s Bennett Donahue showed great skill when he stopped Kacper Wasikowski:s penalty. Bennett Donahue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Malone, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Bennett Donahue made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Rodrigo in the 72nd minute. S.D. Bajen's Ulysses Baldwin was substituted for Sam Malone. Bob Denton hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Sean Stewart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Ramalho in the 76th minute of play forced Lima FC's goalkeeper Bennett Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ulysses Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.D. Bajen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Baldwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bennett Donahue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.D. Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rashad Rosen was slow to take the kick. During this time Lima FC's players had a chance to rest. Lima FC's Bennett Donahue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Hand in the 88th minute of play. Ismael Fritz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Duke Munoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lima FC.
