Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mitch Dunn started the match with the kick off. Jesus Molina kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Danial Salter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Russell Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lake Wales FC booed when Phyperstars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Lake Wales FC's Danial Salter made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Russell Lund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ian Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17thth minute of the game Danial Salter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phyperstars FC's Russell Lund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mitch Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Phyperstars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitch Dunn to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Ian Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th match minute, Phyperstars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Landry to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lake Wales FC's Danial Salter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Russell Lund. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. Rinto Kalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Dunn in the 61st minute of the match. Russell Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Chung in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that Garth Wray got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Russell Lund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Phyperstars FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tracy Landry hit a great ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phyperstars FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garth Wray was slow to take the kick. During this time Lake Wales FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Garth Wray got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Russell Lund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Phyperstars FC's Russell Lund couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Garth Wray shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 75th minute, 0-3. A collision led to Lake Wales FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jarvis Whitney hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lake Wales FC's Jarvis Whitney got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes Lake Wales FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tracy Landry who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Phyperstars FC's corner Tracy Landry fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rinto Kalla quite easily take care of the ball. After 85 played minutes Lake Wales FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarvis Whitney. Toby Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Russell Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Wales FC. Toby Ruiz in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Russell Lund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 90th match minute, Phyperstars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodger Emerson to maneuver through the defense. Russell Lund came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Lake Wales FC's Toby Ruiz. But to his dismay, Toby Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Lake Wales FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lake Wales FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
