The audience was convinced that Jonah Ryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Bachman was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Jonah Ryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonah Ryan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markus Bachman. That made the score 0-8 in the 92 minute of play. When the match was over American Airlines could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Banfield FI throughout the match.
