Tomas Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrence McAllister, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute Terrence McAllister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Landry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrence McAllister in the 11th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Damon Blue had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasey Countess. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damon Blue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Anthony Faturrahman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tomas Landry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasey Countess made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Alfred Mays sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Alfred Mays reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kasey Countess. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikitas Papaiakovou in the 20th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Gallo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domenico Gallo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Damon Blue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Astrologer FC's Kasey Countess threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Richie Arnold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrence McAllister, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Terrence McAllister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Landry was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The supporters of Astrologer FC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Ricks didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Astrologer FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Scottie Leonard hit a great ball. Tomas Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikitas Papaiakovou in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terrence McAllister in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Landry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 played minutes Astrologer FC got a freekick which was hit by Renaldo Wilcox. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Terrence McAllister managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence McAllister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Landry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Astrologer FC's Bart Landreth got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Alfred Mays hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 55 played minutes Astrologer FC got a freekick which was hit by Damon Blue. Bart Landreth kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Son Santiago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Landry quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the game, Monroe Colvin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astrologer FC the free kick. After 68 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Monroe Colvin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrence McAllister in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Landry saved Astrologer FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Arnold in the 79th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Kasey Countess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Countess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richie Arnold in the 80th minute of play. Kasey Countess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richie Arnold in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasey Countess saved New England Minas from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the New England Minas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Astrologer FC.
