In the 15th minute, Ward Doran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Truman Harrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ward Doran in the 20th minute of play. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Zhou in the 25th minute of the match. LOS BUITRES's supporters rose to their feet, but Lv Zhou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Östlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Golden Hills defense, Lv Zhou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egil Östlund. The Golden Hills fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egil Östlund should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lv Zhou to make the kick off. Lv Zhou in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egil Östlund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 52 minutes, Lv Zhou made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Golden Hills's Egil Östlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58thth minute of the game Ward Doran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS BUITRES's Truman Harrington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of LOS BUITRES booed when Golden Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandy Hollandsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lv Zhou came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the LOS BUITRES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lv Zhou couldn't finish the play. Ward Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Zhou in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Ward Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ward Doran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Zhou in the 74th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, LOS BUITRES's Fan Xiang Kuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egil Östlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. LOS BUITRES's Narciso Socorro was substituted for Laurence Suggs. LOS BUITRES were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Golden Hills's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Narciso Socorro took the corner. LOS BUITRES's Adriano Talone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Egil Östlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lv Zhou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Fan Xiang Kuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Östlund. Golden Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fan Xiang Kuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The LOS BUITRES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOS BUITRES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
