Tomas Landry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ward Doran's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Ward Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oren Grady struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Egil Östlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astrologer FC. After 16 played minutes Golden Hills got a freekick which was hit by Jerold Brownell. The supporters of Astrologer FC booed when Golden Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orville Hough didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oren Grady in the 21st minute of the match. Egil Östlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oren Grady in the 25th minute. Golden Hills's Orville Hough suffered a fractured collar bone after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Golden Hills made a substitution. Irving Berlin replaced Orville Hough. After a rather tough play, Astrologer FC's Luther Story got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Astrologer FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luke Winkler hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Ward Doran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oren Grady made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ward Doran. A collision led to Astrologer FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luke Winkler hit a great ball. Ward Doran in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Landry, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luke Winkler hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ward Doran had several of the Astrologer FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Tomas Landry as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luther Story sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Blue in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Roman Farris got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ward Doran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Landry having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Ward Doran took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Tomas Landry to make any attempt to save it. Ward Doran might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Landry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ward Doran ran back to his position shaking his head. Ward Doran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Landry having to make a save. Tomas Landry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Doran in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ward Doran in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Landry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Golden Hills had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
