In the 29th minute DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO were awarded a corner. Akakios Kountouratzis went to the cornerflag to take it. Akakios Kountouratzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Song Qian Wei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ward Doran in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Feo saved DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting behind. The throw-in from Song Qian Wei in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell. 56 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's Ward Doran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Feo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Gerazan Pujana came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Hills's Ward Doran got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerazan Pujana in the 64th minute of play. Benigno Feo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Doran in the 66th minute of the match. Egil Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerazan Pujana, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Ward Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ward Doran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
