The Brannik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Bambas should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Hooper came free, but Kasey Countess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Anthony Faturrahman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 55thth minute of the game Terrence McAllister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brannik's Robert Bambas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pejko Milenkov couldn't finish the play. In the 87th match minute, Brannik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Langston to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 88 in the game by Nikitas Papaiakovou from a close distance when the talented Robert Bambas managed to make a qualified save. Brannik's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Nikitas Papaiakovou got a free kick in the 91st minute. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nikitas Papaiakovou hit a great ball. Robert Bambas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence McAllister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Brannik's Robert Bambas got control of the ball when Vernon Kinney tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Brannik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New England Minas's performance. The match ended with a win for New England Minas.
