Golden Hills's Santo Sparks managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Garaona Aranguiz in the 53 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Hills's zone, Stacey Banning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Östlund came out of the goal and Stacey Banning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stacey Banning got free with Egil Östlund in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Ward Doran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Egil Östlund, passed just outside the right post.
