Carl Åberg was slow to take the kick. During this time LOS BUITRES's players had a chance to rest. Kasey Countess stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lv Zhou's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Brice Ricks charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brice Ricks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LOS BUITRES booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Ricks didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Brice Ricks. New England Minas's Kasey Countess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Zhou in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Anthony Faturrahman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasey Countess came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou. But to his dismay, Lv Zhou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Lv Zhou made a precise shot to the right of Kasey Countess. New England Minas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 31stth minute of the game Lv Zhou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Kasey Countess was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Adriano Talone got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kasey Countess quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 37 minutes of play, LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kasey Countess was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40thth minute of the game Lv Zhou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Kasey Countess was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the game, LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Countess made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Faturrahman in the 59th minute of play forced LOS BUITRES's goalkeeper Loco Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Xavier Salazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS BUITRES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Kasey Countess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Ricks to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Salazar scored 0-7 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Countess, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loco Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Faturrahman, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 79 minutes New England Minas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Narciso Socorro who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Lv Zhou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasey Countess. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasey Countess should have stopped the shot. Kasey Countess came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou. But to his dismay, Lv Zhou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Fan Xiang Kuans short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Kasey Countess to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind New England Minas's goalkeeper Kasey Countess, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. LOS BUITRES's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
