After 11 played minutes United States got a freekick which was hit by Korey Groves. In the 12th minute of the match Raphael Barnhart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Branco skillfully saved the ball. Domenico Hooper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Branco having to make a save. In the 19th minute, 史岚庭 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenico Hooper got free with José Maria Branco in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Hooper's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Pablo Opilano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Brannik's Robert Bambas. Robert Bambas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, United States's Wes Rainey got a free kick in the 27th minute. José Maria Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Hooper in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Domenico Hooper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Brannik were awarded a corner. Raphael Barnhart went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Raphael Barnhart almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but United States's José Maria Branco did a great save. The audience was convinced that Peter Parker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Bambas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Brannik's Robert Bambas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏耀远 in the 37th minute of play. After the first half United States were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Axel Omblets made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Axel Omblets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Branco was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, United States's goal looked a bit too open when Pat Holcomb came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Omblets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Reinaldo Cullen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. José Maria Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Axel Omblets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Branco was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Omblets in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Branco saved United States from getting behind. José Maria Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Omblets's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 史岚庭's late challenge caught a Brannik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 史岚庭 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to United States getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. 史岚庭 hit a great ball. José Maria Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Omblets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Axel Omblets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brannik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Brannik's Robert Bambas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Opilano in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded United States left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brannik.
